Getting your site indexed by the search engines should not be a problem. I got the search engine to index my site pretty fast and this is exactly what I did. I’ll like to share with you how I got Google to index my new blog in around 12 hours.
Personally, I was kinda suprised because I know it’s possible but I’ve not actually tried it. I just allow the blogs to get indexed themselves but this time around, I wanted to see how fast my blog would be indexed so I monitored it. These are what I did…
CONTENT- Of course you don’t want to get a site without content indexed do you? I love writing so I put content on the blog. Very basic content, this blog is about my internet income rant so I just naturally write about why I’m starting the blog, what my readers should expect and so on…
BLOG COMMENTING- This is super easy. Just look for dofollow blog that use the comluv plugin on them and make a good comment. For me, this is a no brainer for me because I already comment on some blogs that I personally like so I just headed there, read the post, gave my USEFUL comment and left. I didn’t add my link in the comment. The normal details are enough. Just google around or use the google blogsearch engine and just key in your niche and you’ll find blogs that has recently updated. You can set your search option to maybe ‘last 1 hour or maybe 2 and just make a good valuable comment. This has an immerse benefit.
FORUM POSTING- I’m sure you’ll have heard people talking about how good it is to post on forums and its marketing benefit. Oh well…it’s so true. Forum posting was another thing I did. I frequent warriorforum.com so much that I naturally (subconsciously) key in the forum address into my web address when I just want to surf around. The forum is highly respected by marketers as well as google because google frequents the place to index new materials/articles so it was super easy for me to get my site indexed by just editing my signature file to reflect my new blog. This might sound too easy but its really is. Edit your signature file and put in your link or just make a post about something for whatever reason and then put in your link. It’ll help you get faster indexing like it did for mine.
These were the steps I took to get indexed in around 12hours and the funny thing is, I’m already ranking for some low keyword and I expect things to pick up pretty soon so that Search engine traffic can begin to flow to my blog.
I hope you enjoyed this and you’ll use the tips whenever you need it. Enjoy your day.
Tim

Posting some content to start with and then commenting in blogs/forums is indeed an excellent way to go. I haven’t done link exchanges or similar activities in years. All I need to kick start a project is to put some good content on and then reply with useful comments in other communities. I get my first visitors too and get Google to notice my blog at the same time.

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for commenting here. Warrior forum for me is still a good place. The only thing being that you’ve got to filter the information you need or those you don’t, since the site is frequently visited by the search engine bots, it’ll be a nice idea to put your link there. Enjoy your day!

I similarly got a new blog indexed in a couple of hours by posting an announcement about the new site on an existing established blog I run that gets well indexed.
I’m off to Warrior Forum to check it out! Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Tim,
These three methods are extremely effective for getting traffic and getting indexed. Pinging your site can be helpful too. I’ve also found that if I set up a Google alert for my keywords, i get notified when other sites are also writing on those keywords, which can be interesting and lead to some great friendships and collaboration!
I’m so glad to have met you and looking forward to getting to know you more!

And yes, forums are good for the search engine and also for driving traffic. Warriorforum is responsible for a large chunk of the traffic on this blog so I know they actually work.

Morning, Tim. I just discovered WarriorForum this past week, so I’m glad to here that it’s a respected, well-ranked spot.
My blog began as more of an online journal than a business builder, and I’m committed to cranking up the volume on using it to generate connections that turn into great coaching relationships.
I appreciate your wisdom!

Hi Tim… Good stuff here! I agree that you should already have your blog pre-populated with some content… and if that content is optimized for low traffic keywords, even better. This way you can get indexed, and hopefully get some rank at the same time.
Cheers!

Hey Tim,
Glad to found this awesome blog.
Writing quality content and commenting are 2 simple steps to get indexed.
Another great way is to use social networking communities like Blokube.com, Digg.com, Stumbleupon etc.

Hi Tim,
When I first started blogging all I did was comment on popular blogs and everyday I watched my alexa ranking climb. I also use warriorforum, although I have been neglecting it lately. Like RB said, maybe your post will inspire me to get back in the forum.

Hi Tim,
Commenting and participating in forums does a great job of helping to get one’s site indexed.
I also don’t spend much time in forums like Warrrior anuy more but it’s good to get the reminder. With so much else to do one just puts it aside and forgets but this does not mean it’s not a great way to help one’s traffic in all kinds of ways.

Warriorforum still remains my highest referral site. That simply shows it’s working!

So important that you put quality content at the top of the list. No way around that, right?! Once you’re able to give back to your readers, you’ll begin seeing results. I too have only recently heard of Warrier Forum, but love some of the great commenting tribes on Facebook as well. Thanks for the great steps!

Hey Oke,
I have been very aggressive in blog commenting and link building, and while I’ve not done much as far as forum postings is concerned, I think it’s time to start doing something about it.
Thanks for the inspiration
